Michael McCormick, CPA
Described as CPA 3.0 by his colleagues he is much more than a bean counter. He is always looking out for his client’s best interests and searching for ways to improve their lives. He has honed his professional skills working with the self-employed, medical service professionals, manufacturers, real estate agents and investors, property managers, and wholesalers. As a private company treasurer and controller he was responsible for issues ranging from financial management, HR and employee benefits, to information technology and inventory control. His diverse background and never ending educational pursuits allow him to bring a well rounded perspective to help you reach your goals.
In June of 2010 Mike released his first book, The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Forming a Business Entity. His second book, Why Didn’t My CPA Tell Me That?, a compendium of topics and co-authors, was released in April 2014 and reached best seller status on several Amazon lists.
From about 1984 until approximately 1993 (Pre X-Games) Mike regularly participated in Freestyle BMX. He performed at schools and various public events throughout Ohio and Northern Kentucky. His largest event was estimated to be in front of 10,000 people. To this day, he is known to occasionally break out his gear and ride.
His father is an accountant. "I followed some of my Dad’s footsteps but certainly not all of them". Michael has a daughter, Jordan. She is an honors student and musician (flute, piano, and percussion). His oldest nephew, Anthony, recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati and is working for an Indianapolis CPA firm and studying for the CPA exam. His youngest nephew, Brandon, became a United States Marine in November 2015.
Michael is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Business Administration. He is an Ohio Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Investment Advisor Representative (Fiduciary).

Dave earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati and his MBA from Xavier University. He is an Ohio CPA and member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Tax Coaches.
